starting a shop

had a second look at a store front in Kenton with a legit seasoned bike mechanic friend that has been wanting to start their own shop for a while. it sounds like he’s in. if all goes well we will call the property owner and sign the 3 year (gulp) lease on Monday!

I’m poor and clearly delusional, so if anyone wants to support me by donating cash, possibly shelving and bike racks, or those old bike

s and parts that have just been collecting dust, i would sure appreciate it.

if we get this shop it will be the only bike shop in Kenton, and the only shop around for miles. It’s just off of the main drag, right by the Kenton Max stop and sandwiched between two great bar/restaurants patio seating, and has a farmers market right out front every Friday afternoon!

it will be a full time repair shop with new and used parts as well as high end, classic light weight parts and will specialize in custom builds including “commuter/basic” fittings, advice on what size and sort of bike/frame to be looking for as well as what parts will work best for your need to get you a bike that suits (and of course complete builds once you have located that perfect bike)!

my frame building shop will also be in there and i will be offering full custom racks, as well as adding/removing braze ons to make your bike suit your needs and desires. custom frames and forks will be offered soon!

but again, this is a plea for help and support and to let you all know that you have to come out and see our new space/bike shop really soon!
