Things you will never see sold at Apiecalypse: anything that starts with the word “skinny” or “diet” or “clean” or “smart.” We are not selling “skinny” to anyone. There are places that choose to qualify their foods by what they will supposedly do for your waist instead of what we should focus on like “fitness” or “health” or “happy” or “uplifting” cookies… instead people try to sell “skinny cookies” as though skinny is worth more that those other things are. It suggests buying all the other cookies are buying “bad cookies” or “dirty cookies.” Nah. We aren’t about that. We respect you more than that. We want to offer you well-made cruelty free food without having the names of our items suggest to you that you are doing something right or wrong for wanting one thing over another. We’re not going to pretend you aren’t smart if you want to eat something that has raw organic cane sugar in it.. because you didn’t buy the “smart brownie” or whatever. We are never going to sell you body shame, or pretend there is something wrong with wanting to eat dessert, or a pot pie, or a delicious vegan sausage roll; all of which are made with whole foods and organic ingredients and made by compassionate, dedicated people. We will never serve anything we wouldn’t be happy to eat ourselves, and similarly, we will never contribute to anyone having bad feelings about eating anything vegan. Apiecalypse is never going to use negative reinforcement to sell anything. The bakery space be never be used to make anyone struggling already with the pressures that society throws at them about their appearance or their self-worth feel worse for eating something delicious that we made. Our food is vegan for the animals (and delicious for the vegans) and free of judgement. It is intended to nourish more than just your body, because we know that you are more than just a body. And that is how it is always going to be here. Happy New Year to everyone making positive resolutions for 2014. We hope that loving yourself, and trusting yourself, and respecting yourself for who you are already, remain high on that list; and whatever you do, make sure it is for you, because that’s what matters the most.

why do peeps called fascists hate groups like hate is a bad things, yo, don’t get me wrong fascists are wack but hate is alright. i mean hatin on cops, hatin on laws, hatin on bad music, hatin on being under control, all fine examples of cool hate. white supremacists still sounds way worse than hate group anyways, plus hating is only bad if you have terrible taste (hatin ladies, hating jews, not hating cops, etc)
